A lady confirms that yes, that indeed was the suspicous package she reported to the MTA authorities. Everyone on the car begins to groan and moan as she runs across the platform and gleefully gets on the 4 train. The police have to then sweep every car for potential ‘suspicous packages,’ protocol I suppose, as I storm out of the train and walk 12 blocks to work.
